Director Mary Jo Thiel has similar passions for helping others.  Most recently, God has given her a passion to reach out to young adults, typically seniors in high school or recent high school graduates, who are in tenuous living situations. Some are from broken homes with nowhere to live except by the grace of their friend's parents, moving from couch to couch but having no real "home".  Others live with one parent but don't have the means to attend junior college, repair their car, or get their teeth fixed for lack of insurance.  Mrs. Thiel also has a passion for helping impoverished individuals start business in other countries, supporting organizations such as World Vision, the Beth Moore Ministries, and Compassion International.  Mrs. Thiel's spiritual gifts include intercessory prayer, compassion, encouragement, and counseling.  She currently leads a local Mom's in Touch Group as well as a bible study group at Cornerstone Fellowship, Livermore, California, and in the past she has served as Prayer and Encouragement Chair for Mom's In Touch, Northern California State Team.

Mrs. Thiel's day job is managing the Thiel household, having made the decision many years ago to stay home with the kids.  She also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Malibu, California, 1983.

Both Mary Jo and Charlie attend Cornerstone Fellowship in Livermore, California.
