Shepherd’s Gate:
Shelter for battered and homeless woman and children for up to three weeks, and can provide food and clothing in moderation.  They provide a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.

Tri-Valley Haven:
Shelter for battered women and rape crisis center.  They provide shelter, counseling, support groups, legal services for temporary restraining orders, information and referrals.

Livermore Homeless Refuge (formerly The Livermore Warming Center).
Provides a clean, dry, warm and safe refuge for people who need a place to stay, regardless of race, creed, color or religion.  If the weather forecast is 20% rain or the temperature drops below 40 degrees, the refuge will be open for our homeless 'guests' to spend the night." OPENS at 6:00PM and CLOSES at 8:00PM.  Check out time is 7:00AM.  Check out time is 7:00AM.  Guests who wish to be admitted after 8:00 p.m. must call (925) 784-4887 for approval.

They bring together people needing housing with those who have an apartment or home to share, for Tri-Valley residents.
