Domestic Violence Resources - In the Tri Valley

Shepherd’s Gate:
Shelter for battered and homeless woman and children for up to three weeks, and can provide food and clothing in moderation.  They provide a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.

Tri-Valley Haven:
Shelter for battered women, and rape crisis center.  They provide shelter, counseling, support groups, legal services for temporary restraining orders, information and referrals.

Support Group:
A domestic violence support group is held 5:00 to 6:30 pm every Wednesday at Tri-Valley Haven, 3663 Pacific Ave., Livermore, for women every Wednesday evening.  Survivors will be able to address issues of abuse in relationships.  The cost is $40 for every eight weeks, or is based on a sliding scale.  Call (925) 449-5845 ext 202 for details.

Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach
API Legal Outreach (formerly Nihonmachi Legal Outreach), is a community-based, social justice organization serving the Asian and Pacific Islander communities of the Greater Bay Area.  With a staff of 20 in offices in San Francisco and Oakland, we provide legal, social, and educational services in more than a dozen languages and dialects including Cantonese, Chiu-Chow, Hindi, Ilocano, Japanese, Korean, Lao, Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog, Taiwanese, Urdu, and Vietnamese.
