Scholarship to Summer Camp
A few weeks ago I had one of those experiences in which God shows His hand so amazingly clearly. I was at church and one of my son’s acquaintances walked in front of me several times. For some reason, the Lord put her on my heart, and I had a thought to offer to pay for her to go to our Church’s high school summer camp. After the service, I waited in the lobby, asking the Lord to show me what He wanted me to do; to show her to me if He wanted me to find her, and to make it a financial issue if He wanted me to pay her way (because that was something that I could fix). Hanging out in my usual place, I finally saw her, so I walked up to her and asked her how things were going, and if she was going to the summer camp. She said that she wanted to go, but that she had some financial issues and unfortunately couldn’t afford to go this year. Well, you can’t get much clearer than that. I offered to pay and she accepted. Praise the Lord for allowing me to serve him this way.
